Formerly Penski Staffing a CorTech Company is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Potsdam, NY. .
Hours: FT- Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
$16.00-$17.00/hour
Process daily bank deposits, track bank activity and work with campus constituents to gather correct accounting information. Process daily ACH/Wire transfers. Create, mail and record retiree medical insurance billings. Process daily credit card transactions. Prepare and process journal entries to record cash activity. Research and apply account strings to internal billings and charges, Knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Customer service experience preferred, with strong oral and written communication skills. Prior experience working with cash operations and banking systems.
